I mentioned this club in an earlier post on San Francisco. I am still dying to get in there - so I tried to learn a little bit more of what they have going on. From what I have heard, it definitely seems like a place to check out. San Francisco seems to have a pretty hip music scene - much more than just the drugged up hippie vibe of the Haight/Ashbury days. I would love to hear from anyone with more knowledge about the current San Francisco music scene.
